German young Naturefriends organise a children's summit every few years, a colourful mixture of discussions, activities and fun. Children and young people from all over Germany meet to discuss together - according to the motto: "Children talk, adults listen!” The aim is to motivate children to participate in civil society action.

In workshops, demands and self-commitments are formulated, which are recorded in a future contract. This document serves as a basis for discussion and is sent to members of the government and other information.
