Naturefriends International (NFI) and the “Roundtable Human Rights in Tourism”, of which NFI is a founding member, held a symposium on “Human Rights in Practice: Tourism and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” in June 2018. Approximately 50 international participants – tour operators and travel agencies, experts from science and politics, NGO representatives, journalists and many more – met in Vienna to discuss the issue of how the tourism industry can, in practice, contribute to the upholding of human rights and, within its activities and business relationships, provide support to achieve the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A contribution to the following UN Sustainable Developement Goals:
