For many years, Naturefriends Berlin have been cultivating an intensive work of remembrance. They want to contribute to ensuring that historical events are not forgotten, and that the history of the labour movement is reflected in the present day. In this way a democratic and anti-fascist historical approach is promoted, which also contributes to the preservation of the history of the Naturefriends movement and its integration into the respective social context.

Naturefriends Berlin organise various commemorative events every year. In the center of their active commemoration work are the anti-fascist Georg Elser and the boxer Rukeli Trollmann, who was persecuted and murdered by the fascists.
