As part of the international climate project of the Naturefriends Bremen, a climate workshop was held in January 2017 together with Naturefriends Chile at Casa Chueca, an ecologically managed lodge in central Chile. The climate workshop was prepared by the Bremen Naturefriend Rebecca Diedrich, who spent half a year in the Casa Chueca for this purpose. Students from the Colegio Inglés in Talca participated together with a teacher and some parents. After theory and map work, a "climate rally" was held on the spacious grounds of the lodge.

The delegation from Bremen had already gained an impression of Chile's climate zones and impressive nature during a one-week excursion in the northern Chilean highlands. In addition to conducting the climate workshop, there was also enough time for intensive discussions with the Naturefriends from Chile, during which ideas for future projects were developed.
