On the occasion of Human Rights Day on 10 December, Naturefriends are calling for climate justice as a necessity for ensuring a decent life for all people.

The XXV Congress of Naturefriends International demands from the wealthy states a stronger commitment to climate protection and climate justice! "Climate Justice for the Future" was the motto of the XXV Congress of Naturefriends International, which took place on 7 October in the Naturefriends Hotel in Spital am Pyhrn (Austria). 60 participants from 15 countries discussed the global effects of the climate crisis and adopted a catalogue of demands to the industrialised and emerging countries as well as concrete measures of Naturefriends for more climate justice.

Today's World Tourism Day is themed "Tourism & Green Investment". This topic is also of great concern to Naturefriends. They have long been committed to sustainable leisure and tourism development and invest in green technology for their houses and refuges. 

Since 2012, the association has become the most relevant multi-stakeholder initiative in the industry. It has recently gained three new members, including its largest tour operator to date: The DER Touristik Group.
