Roundtable Human Rights in Tourism

The topic of human rights doesn't only gain in significance in media coverage and politics, but also in corporate governance ‒ and in tourism.

Especially for tour operators who rely on many suppliers, it is not easy to keep an eye on the impact of their business activities on all people involved. Do the hotel employees receive fair wages? Will the fishermen still have access to the sea when the new hotel is built? There are many details to be kept in mind.

This is where the Roundtable Human Rights comes in and supports the tourism sector in integrating human rights due diligence in tourism management. The Roundtable is an open platform for dialogue and provides information, materials and good-practice examples.
